Trip Overview

If you’re looking for a journey that brings together Nepal’s timeless culture, Himalayan landscapes, spiritual heritage, charming mountain villages, and moments of pure relaxation, this 11-day luxury Nepal tour with a visit to Muktinath offers an unforgettable way to experience the country.

Your journey begins in Kathmandu, where you’ll discover some of Nepal’s most important cultural and religious landmarks, including Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. With private sightseeing and a comfortable pace, you’ll have time to appreciate the history, architecture, and living traditions behind each destination.

From Kathmandu, you’ll travel west through Nepal’s beautiful countryside to Bandipur. In this charming Newari hill town, traditional architecture, quiet stone-paved streets, and panoramic mountain views create a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. You’ll have time to explore the town at your own pace and experience its unique character.

Your journey then continues to Pokhara, where you’ll discover the tranquil beauty of Phewa Lake and explore some of the city’s most memorable attractions. After enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of the lake city, you’ll travel deeper into the Himalayas, following the spectacular Kali Gandaki Valley toward the Mustang region.

As you journey north, the landscape grows more dramatic, with towering mountains, deep valleys, rocky cliffs, waterfalls, and traditional Himalayan settlements along the way. You’ll arrive in Marpha, a picturesque mountain village renowned for its whitewashed houses, stone-paved lanes, apple orchards, and peaceful surroundings.

From Marpha, you’ll continue toward Muktinath, one of Nepal’s most revered pilgrimage destinations for both Hindus and Buddhists. Here, you’ll have time to experience the sacred temple complex, discover the famous 108 water spouts, observe the eternal natural flame, and take in the deeply spiritual atmosphere of this remarkable Himalayan sanctuary.

After your Muktinath experience, you’ll journey back through the Kali Gandaki Valley toward Tatopani, where the pace slows and becomes more relaxing. After the mountain journey, you can unwind in the village’s natural hot springs and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by lush hills and the sounds of nature.

You’ll then continue toward Sarangkot, where you’ll wake early for a spectacular Himalayan sunrise. As the first light touches the peaks, you may see Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) glowing against the morning sky—a beautiful moment to experience from one of Nepal’s most celebrated viewpoints.

The final part of your journey brings you back to Pokhara, where you can enjoy the city at your own pace. Take a private boat ride across Phewa Lake, stroll through Lakeside, visit the World Peace Pagoda, enjoy a wellness experience, or choose an optional adventure such as paragliding or zip-lining.

Finally, you’ll take a short flight from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, giving you a comfortable alternative to a long overland journey. You’ll spend your final evening enjoying the comfort of your luxury hotel before your departure the following day.

This is more than a sightseeing tour. It’s a carefully paced journey designed to let you experience Nepal comfortably and meaningfully, from ancient temples and living traditions to remote Himalayan landscapes, sacred pilgrimage sites, peaceful villages, natural hot springs, and breathtaking mountain sunrises. Unforgettable Trekking Experience & Warmest Hospitality with Silvermoon Adventure Silvermoon Adventure and Tours provides comprehensive, reliable, and top-tier service, treating every guest with genuine warmth and care. They truly make Nepal feel like a second home, and trekking with them means you won't need to worry about a single detail from start to finish. Why I Chose Silvermoon Adventure and Tours I learned about the team through Deepak. Once he knew my flight details and preferred trek, he immediately customized a detailed itinerary for me. While I consulted other travel agencies in Nepal, Deepak and the Silvermoon team provided the most thorough plan and transparent information, giving me complete confidence to book with them. The Trekking Experience My guide, Basanta, took exceptional care of me throughout the entire journey. Along the trail, he constantly checked in on how I was feeling, offered breaks, and even offered to carry my backpack to ensure I was comfortable. Every time we arrived at a tea house, he made sure I had food and drinks ready—even reminding me to order meals when I was too exhausted to think about it. On the day we reached Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), I developed a mild headache. Basanta immediately arranged garlic soup to help relieve the altitude sickness and provided medicine to soothe the pain. His attentive care made all the difference in completing the trek safely. Beyond his attentiveness, Basanta is an expert guide who always navigated the easiest paths at trail junctions. Even after we returned to Pokhara for dinner, he ensured I got back to my hotel safely. Deepak also checked in via message every single day during the trek to ensure everything was running smoothly. After the Trek The team's hospitality didn't end on the trail. Back in Kathmandu, the founder, Bishal, gave me a warm welcome, helped me retrieve my luggage from the hotel, showed me around the city, and personally arranged my airport drop-off. Thank you to Basanta, Bishal, and Deepak for an unforgettable experience. I will definitely return to Nepal and trek with Silvermoon Adventure and Tours again. Highly recommended!

Excellent guide and wonderful experience My husband and I had the most amazing experience trekking in the Himalayas to Poonhill with Bishal. We were very well looked after and felt extremely safe with him at all times. He made us laugh when the hike got a little trickier and always made sure we had hot drinks and food as soon as we got to the huts. We would highly recommend him as a wonderful and trustworthy guide and will definitely contact him again when we have plans to come back!
