Your first stop is Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal. Day 04 Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding.
Early in the morning, you will transfer to Manthali Airport for one of the world’s most spectacular mountain flights to Lukla (2,860 m), the gateway to the Everest region. The short flight offers breathtaking aerial views of lush hills, deep valleys, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks before landing at the famous Tenzing-Hillary Airport.

Upon arrival, you begin your leisurely trek toward Phakding (2,610 m). The trail gently descends through charming Sherpa villages, ancient mani walls, colorful prayer wheels, and suspension bridges crossing the crystal-clear Dudh Koshi River. You can walk at your comfortable pace, allowing plenty of time to appreciate the mountain scenery and peaceful atmosphere of the Khumbu Valley.

After approximately 3–4 hours of trekking, arrive at the beautiful riverside village of Phakding. We check into the best available luxury lodge, where you’ll enjoy warm Sherpa hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and an excellent dinner prepared with fresh local ingredients.

Day 05 Trek to Namche Bazaar.

Day 06 Acclimatization Day at Namche. Hike to Hotel Everest View and back.

After breakfast, you’ll ascend through fragrant rhododendron and pine forests toward Syangboche before reaching the iconic Hotel Everest View, one of the highest-altitude hotels in the world. The viewpoint offers spectacular panoramic views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, and several other Himalayan peaks.

The hike provides one of the best opportunities during the trek to enjoy close-up views of Everest while allowing proper acclimatization.

If time and conditions permit, you’ll continue to the picturesque Sherpa village of Khumjung. Explore its historic monastery, visit the famous Hillary School, and gain insight into the rich traditions and warm hospitality of the local Sherpa community.

Day 07 Trek to Tengboche from Namche Bazaar.
Today you’ll embark on one of the most breathtaking sections of the Everest Luxury Trek, where every step is accompanied by spectacular Himalayan scenery. After a relaxed breakfast at your luxury lodge, you’ll leave Namche Bazaar and follow the scenic mountain trail. The path offers incredible views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega, and other snow-covered peaks along the way.

As you continue, you will pass through alpine landscapes before descending to Phunki Tenga. Phunki Tenga is a small settlement on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, where you will take a short break. Later, you’ll begin a steady uphill climb through forests of pine, fir, and rhododendron trees.

As you gain elevation, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. Eventually, you’ll arrive at Tengboche, a beautiful village famous for its monastery and incredible mountain surroundings.

After checking into your comfortable luxury lodge, you will then visit the iconic Tengboche Monastery. Tengboche Monastery is the largest and most significant Buddhist monastery in the Everest region.

This monastery is surrounded by majestic Himalayan giants, offering a serene spiritual atmosphere, with the magnificent Ama Dablam standing tall behind it. This spot is a favorite among photographers, as it is one of the most photographed mountains in Nepal.

Day 08 Trek to Monjo.

You’ll descend to the small riverside settlement of Phunki Tenga before following the trail back toward Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you’ll continue to enjoy stunning views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse whenever the forest opens up. This moment offers plenty of opportunities to stop for photographs and simply take in the incredible mountain scenery.

After passing through the lively streets of Namche Bazaar, you’ll continue downhill through Sagarmatha National Park, crossing several iconic suspension bridges suspended high above the Dudh Koshi River. The gradual descent makes for a comfortable and enjoyable walk as you leave the higher alpine landscape behind.

By early afternoon, you’ll arrive in the peaceful village of Monjo. Unlike the busier villages higher in the valley, Monjo offers a peaceful atmosphere and a relaxing place to end the day. You can settle into your comfortable lodge, enjoy a warm dinner, and take some time to reflect on the wonderful experiences and memories from your Everest journey.

Day 09 Trek to Lukla.

As you walk alongside the Dudh Koshi River, you’ll cross suspension bridges, pass traditional Sherpa villages, and enjoy your final views of the beautiful Khumbu landscape.

Although most of today’s route is downhill, there are still a few uphill sections that require steady effort. The trail offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the experiences and memories you’ve gathered along the way.

By late afternoon, you’ll arrive back in Lukla, where your Himalayan adventure first began. In the evening, you can celebrate the successful completion of your trek.

Why I Chose Silvermoon Adventure and Tours I learned about the team through Deepak. Once he knew my flight details and preferred trek, he immediately customized a detailed itinerary for me. While I consulted other travel agencies in Nepal, Deepak and the Silvermoon team provided the most thorough plan and transparent information, giving me complete confidence to book with them. The Trekking Experience My guide, Basanta, took exceptional care of me throughout the entire journey. Along the trail, he constantly checked in on how I was feeling, offered breaks, and even offered to carry my backpack to ensure I was comfortable. Every time we arrived at a tea house, he made sure I had food and drinks ready—even reminding me to order meals when I was too exhausted to think about it. On the day we reached Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), I developed a mild headache. Basanta immediately arranged garlic soup to help relieve the altitude sickness and provided medicine to soothe the pain. His attentive care made all the difference in completing the trek safely. Beyond his attentiveness, Basanta is an expert guide who always navigated the easiest paths at trail junctions. Even after we returned to Pokhara for dinner, he ensured I got back to my hotel safely. Deepak also checked in via message every single day during the trek to ensure everything was running smoothly. After the Trek The team's hospitality didn't end on the trail. Back in Kathmandu, the founder, Bishal, gave me a warm welcome, helped me retrieve my luggage from the hotel, showed me around the city, and personally arranged my airport drop-off.  Verified Excellent guide and wonderful experience My husband and I had the most amazing experience trekking in the Himalayas to Poonhill with Bishal. We were very well looked after and felt extremely safe with him at all times. He made us laugh when the hike got a little trickier and always made sure we had hot drinks and food as soon as we got to the huts.
