At a time when 2,000 to 3,000 young people leave Nepal every day in search of opportunities abroad, our team made a conscious decision to build our future here.

We chose this path because we believe the most meaningful work happens where we are most at home, among the landscapes, cultures, and stories that have shaped us.

For us, the Himalayas have never been just a destination. They are part of everyday life. There is an energy here, something shaped by both the land and the resilience of the people who live within it.

Through our work, we want our travelers to experience this connection in a way that feels natural, authentic, and impactful.

Who we are

Our journey to Silvermoon started more than a decade ago on the trails; it wasn’t born in an office, but forged from decades of collective footsteps.

We spent over twelve years working from the ground up, navigating high passes and learning what explorers actually want when they look at the Himalayas. For five of those years, our co-founder Bishal was a partner in a traditional trekking agency, keeping the gears turning from the inside.

One night, high up in the Annapurnas under a blindingly bright silver moon, we made our move. We had the sweat equity, the route knowledge, and the scars to prove our experience. It was time to stop building someone else’s dream.

We realized something simple: The moon doesn’t blind you like the glare of the sun; it lights up the dark trails quietly, reliably, and guides you exactly where you need to go. That is how we wanted to run our agency. We broke away to blend safety standards with deep, authentic local soul.
