Booking in advance is recommended, especially during spring and autumn when demand for accommodation, transportation, guides, and trekking services is higher.

  • Is this tour suitable for first-time visitors to Nepal?

Yes. It offers a good introduction to Nepal by combining cultural heritage, Himalayan scenery, a short trek, traditional village life, and wildlife without requiring a long, high-altitude expedition.

Photography and Experience

  • Is this tour good for photography?

Yes. The tour provides many photography opportunities, including ancient temples, historic architecture, Himalayan landscapes, traditional villages, forests, lakes, and wildlife.

  • Where are the best places for mountain photography?

Ghorepani and Tadapani offer excellent mountain-photography opportunities when the weather is clear. You can also capture beautiful landscapes around the Annapurna foothills and Ghandruk.

  • Can I take photographs in Ghandruk?

Yes. Ghandruk is a particularly interesting place for photography because of its traditional stone houses, Gurung culture, surrounding hills, and Himalayan views.

  • Can I take photographs during the Chitwan safari?

Yes. Chitwan provides opportunities for wildlife and nature photography. However, you should always follow your guide’s instructions and maintain a safe distance from wildlife.

  • What wildlife might I see in Chitwan?

Depending on natural conditions, you may see one-horned rhinoceros, deer, crocodiles, monkeys, and many species of birds. Wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed.

  • What makes this tour different from a regular Nepal tour?

This itinerary combines several of Nepal’s major experiences in just 12 days. You can explore Kathmandu’s cultural heritage, experience Pokhara’s lakes and mountain scenery, trek through the Annapurna foothills and traditional Gurung villages, and finish with wildlife experiences in Chitwan.

  • Is this a good option for travelers who do not want a long trek?

Yes. The trekking section is relatively short and focuses on the Annapurna foothills rather than a long high-altitude expedition. It is a good option for travelers who want to experience Himalayan trails without spending most of their vacation trekking.

Unforgettable Trekking Experience & Warmest Hospitality with Silvermoon Adventure Silvermoon Adventure and Tours provides comprehensive, reliable, and top-tier service, treating every guest with genuine warmth and care. They truly make Nepal feel like a second home, and trekking with them means you won't need to worry about a single detail from start to finish. Why I Chose Silvermoon Adventure and Tours I learned about the team through Deepak. Once he knew my flight details and preferred trek, he immediately customized a detailed itinerary for me. While I consulted other travel agencies in Nepal, Deepak and the Silvermoon team provided the most thorough plan and transparent information, giving me complete confidence to book with them. The Trekking Experience My guide, Basanta, took exceptional care of me throughout the entire journey. Along the trail, he constantly checked in on how I was feeling, offered breaks, and even offered to carry my backpack to ensure I was comfortable. Every time we arrived at a tea house, he made sure I had food and drinks ready—even reminding me to order meals when I was too exhausted to think about it. On the day we reached Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), I developed a mild headache. Basanta immediately arranged garlic soup to help relieve the altitude sickness and provided medicine to soothe the pain. His attentive care made all the difference in completing the trek safely. Beyond his attentiveness, Basanta is an expert guide who always navigated the easiest paths at trail junctions. Even after we returned to Pokhara for dinner, he ensured I got back to my hotel safely. Deepak also checked in via message every single day during the trek to ensure everything was running smoothly. After the Trek The team's hospitality didn't end on the trail. Back in Kathmandu, the founder, Bishal, gave me a warm welcome, helped me retrieve my luggage from the hotel, showed me around the city, and personally arranged my airport drop-off. Thank you to Basanta, Bishal, and Deepak for an unforgettable experience. I will definitely return to Nepal and trek with Silvermoon Adventure and Tours again. Highly recommended!

Excellent guide and wonderful experience My husband and I had the most amazing experience trekking in the Himalayas to Poonhill with Bishal. We were very well looked after and felt extremely safe with him at all times. He made us laugh when the hike got a little trickier and always made sure we had hot drinks and food as soon as we got to the huts. We would highly recommend him as a wonderful and trustworthy guide and will definitely contact him again when we have plans to come back!
