Bishal Gurung

Trip Overview

He has been working for more than a decade. After completing his secondary education, he left his hometown of Dhading and came to Kathmandu, where he completed his Bachelor’s in Humanities/Arts from Tribhuwan University in 2011.

While he was studying for his education, he also got involved in trekking groups as a member of the team. It supported his experience of trekking and the tour also helped with his pocket money for his survival. He had been continuing his work in the tourism sector and he was promoted as the trekking guide. When he was doing trekking trip with his clients for the Manaslu Circuit Trek, he was blocked in the huge snowfall at Samagaun Village, and he was able to safely land his clients even in such a big situation too. This trek taught him many things about to handle the critical situation and learnt to survive during the emergency in the mountains.

Later, he experienced about the management of trekking and tour, then he began to guide his own clients. He used to guide groups to almost all the familiar trekking routes of Nepal such as Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Base Camp trek, Langtang Valley Trek, Mnaslu Circuit Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Mustang Tour, Kanchenjunga and Dolpo etc.
